On-Track have compiled a list of all the General Aviation Safety Sense Leaflets which should be studied in conjunction with your main reference book(s). They have been listed under the appropriate groundschool subject headings.

Aeronautical Information Circulars (AICs)
In addition to the General Aviation Safety Sense leaflets mentioned above student pilots should also study AICs in conjunction with their main reference book(s). There are 5 different colours, each one represents a different topic:
White - Administration matters
Yellow - Operational matters including ATS facilities and requirements
Pink -
Safety related topics
Mauve -
UK airspace restrictions imposed in accordance with the temporary restriction of flying regulations
Green -
Maps and charts
Note: Important safety related AICs are listed in LASOR. Alternatively ALL the AICs are available from the AIS website www.ais.org.uk |
