VHF Radiotelephony - Training Programme

The Radiotelephony training covers all the aspects of the VHF Radiotelephony written and practical examinations.

The training assumes that the candidate has read the Pre-Course Study Material and has a basic understanding of that material.

The course is conducted by a CAA RTF Examiner who will guide the candidates through the course material ensuring that all the relevant areas are covered in depth including practical advice on how to use the radio equipment fitted to general aviation aeroplanes and helicopters.

The course is not specific to Aeroplane or Helicopter pilots.

At the end of the training day the candidate may site the written examination only. The practical test may take up to 2-3 hours and therfore shall be arranged to be taken on another day.

The training is conducted at the On-Track Aviation headquarters at Wellesbourne Mountford Aerodrome near Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire.

Training can be conducted at your own flying club - please contact On-Track Aviation for details.
