Remember you as the PIC has a legal obligation under the ANO to check that the aeroplane will have adequate performance for the proposed flight

The Aeroplane Performance training covers the Aeroplane Performance aspects of the Flight Performance and Planning written examination. Prior to taking the Flight Performance and Planning written examination the candidate is should also complete the Mass and Balance training course to ensure they are fully prepared for the examination.
The training assumes that the candidate has read the Pre-Course Study Material and has a basic understanding of that material.
The course is conducted by a PPL Examiner who will guide the candidates through the course material ensuring that all the relevant areas are covered in depth including practical advice on how to apply this knowledge to your own type of aeroplane.
Once the candidate has also completed the both the Aeroplane Performance and Mass and Balance training courses they may take the written examination.
The training is conducted at On-Track Aviation at Wellesbourne Mountford Aerodrome near Stratford-Upon-Avon.
